Jen Porter
Jen Porter serves as Chief Operating Officer at Humin, where she leads cross-functional operations, finance and accounting, and human resources. Jen is an experienced COO in the nonprofit space. She previously served as the founding COO of Mind Share Partners, a workplace mental health nonprofit, and founding COO at The Reset Foundation, an alternative justice model for young adults. She has also helped grow organizations in global employment, public health, philanthropy, and microfinance.
Jen has an MBA from Harvard University where she focused on shared value and increasing the social impact of business. She has published extensively in the field of mental health and wellbeing, including in the Harvard Business Review and Forbes. She has been a speaker at TEDx, Culturati, and the NHRA. Previously, she was listed on Forbes 30 under 30 in Social Entrepreneurship and named an Echoing Green Fellow.
Based in Portland, Jen spends her free time reading too many books and caring for never enough houseplants. She enjoys weekends at the Oregon coast with her family and giant doodle Palmer. To support wellbeing, she enjoys hot yoga and reading not-too-complex poetry.
